If you’re a Black solo traveler especially a Black woman please be cautious here. Not all, but some staff and security were very unwelcoming and I experienced racial discrimination. Just something to be aware of.

The Drey - Kensington, Earl's Court
Basement room smelt musty or like moisture. Had to be changed rooms. Staff agreed it did smell. Moved to a new room. The room didn’t had any coffee cups. Also nowhere to put luggage, or anything really. The staff put towels on the bed and literally no where to put them other than the floor. Not well ...

Point A Hotel London Kings Cross – St Pancras
Nice and did the job. Had a windowless room but it only had one bedside table and therefore only charge phones on one side. Not a huge issue but I wake early compared to my other half
