A good stay

The room I received was clean, mostly updated, and appeared to have new mattresses. was able to rest well. The night was quiet - not real busy on a Wednesday. A simple breakfast, but included a waffle maker.

I spent the night of the 11th and the 15th. Continue your efforts to upgrade the facility, greater strides need to be made. Consider at least resealing the parking lot. Amenities are adequate for the value of your rates. The staff was very accommodating. I will book a stay again in the future.

This hotel is tired and needs updating. The carpet in our room was probably original to the initial construction. There needs to be more outlets. The breakfast area needed work. Packaged chocolate chip muffins were stale. Waffle maker wasn’t working. The sink had no paper towels. The bed was comfortable enough and the water for our shower was hot, so that was good. The towels were super thin. A little TLC by ownership would go a long way.

Reviews can be dangerous, having read reviews of this hotel at first i decided against it but it was only one night so we gave it a shot. The fact is the outside looks a little run down but everything about the inside was clean and pleasant, the desk clerk was very helpful, the 2 rooms were very nice and the breakfast reasonable. I would categorize this as a budget hotel but make no mistake it was a very nice stay

Upon arrival, luggage was sitting outside by the rear door. The interior room could use a fresh coat of lighter color paint. The light was dim and all dark colors (just preference). The dining room room needed vacuuming. The carpet could use updating or some how freshened. It is pet friendly. The owner and staff were very pleasant.

Checking in was smooth, and staff were friendly. The property is old and a little run down, and our room smelled musty and moldy. Our friends room right next to us was fine. We had to change 4 out of 6 pillow cases due to hair on them. The tub had hair in it also. One of the pillows had what looked like mold on it, we just threw it in the corner and didn’t use it. For what we needed it for it was fine for the price. We will probably stay somewhere else next time. They also DO NOT have any Taxi’s, Uber or Lift in the area!

OK for a one-night stay, but would not choose to stay here again. It was clear there had been a pet on the chair because there was some hair/fur; and it was also clear the carpet had not been vacuumed well. There was a hair on the pillowcase. I did not want to walk around the room without slippers/shoes on. Bathroom looked very clean, however. Lobby and stairs leading to room was not very clean. Staff was very friendly.

Poorly cleaned and maintained

Check in was quick. Went to the room, comforter had at least 8 visable stains. Pulled back the comforter to find dirty sheets. Pulled back the sheet and the mattress protector was urine stained. Carpeting was extremely dirty. Went to the desk and asked for the room to have all new linens. The owner asked me to go get the items from our room and come back down. He gave me a key to a "better" room. Open the door to the 2nd room and it was still dirty from the last guest. I went back to the original room to tell him it was dirty and thanks but no thanks I'm going somwhere else. As we were leaving the parking lot he asked us to look at one more room. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He showed me to the 3rd room and all you could smell was mold. No thank you...He told me he had all new housekeepers. If that's the case, then as the owner you should be doing quality inspections.
