"I booked and paid for a room on a Friday night @ 5:30 pm. I went to a party and decided I shouldn't drive to the property. When I went there at 9 am to shower and prepare for my Saturday and possibly pay for another night, I was turned away as a "no show". I thought that since I paid $90 for a room that it would be mine until check out @ 11AM. "Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again. "

"This is an OLD Red Roof Inns motel. The air conditioner’s heat exchanger fins were very dusty and made quite an odor on start up. The refrigerator condenser was no better. It appears some of the guests are “extended-stay” clientele. The phone does not work along with cold water in the bathroom sink."

"The facility was older but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was satisfactory, but the bathroom was in poor shape. The bathtub had some type of epoxy like they use on boats all over the bottom of the tub. It was bumpy and peeling. The bathtub was very uninviting. I contemplated not showing because it looked like the stuff on the tub would come off. I would definitely not take a bath."

"Quiet and clean. Checking in and out were problem free. Staff was nice and informative."

"The room I was given had urine on the toilet seat, multiple lights didn't work, plastic wrap over the smoke detector, exposed wiring, dirty mirrors, dirty microwave and fridge, no kleenex, no hand soap, no shampoo, no bosy wash. About 8 men were partying a few rooms away, into all hours of the night and the desk clerk was hanging out with them. I have photos. I requested a refund of the second night as I did not stay a second night. I don't know if it was refunded, I was not given a receipt."

"Nice room and furnishings. Needed a refresher from house keeping. Staff is amazing and they validate parking!!! Beds are super soft."

"Great service, friendly staff, convenient restaurant which made me a superb sandwich and serves Starbucks coffee. The room was very clean and quiet and I slept great in the bed. I'd stay here again without question. Just outside was the river trail with great river scenery, and a quarter mile or so to Riverfront Park and downtown. Also, the parking was generous and well lit."
