"Steps are very dangerous as I didn’t know the bottom landing was so dangerous especially for my mother. Thermostat upstairs wouldn’t come on as it looks like it is not attached properly. The place is beautiful outside but overall not for me. "

"This was a lovely hotel and very welcome after a long walk in the morning. The hotel is extremely convenient for the small town of Dahlonega - which itself is pretty and compact. I really slept well here. The only downside is that there are no staff on site until business hours which we hadn't anticipated and we left before anyone arrived. This was solved by a quick call to the out of hours number. I would happily stay there again, it was very comfortable."

"We decided last minute to go to Dahlonega just for one night. We decided on The Smith House because it was in town and we could walk wherever we wanted to go. The room was a king room in the lodge but did not have a balcony like the ones in front. We had a small window that faced the parking garage. The parking was ok. "14 rooms. On the Dahlonega, GA Square. Walk to shopping and dinning. Number 1 boutique hotel in Dahlonega. No swimming pool. Excellent condition and very safe. Will return. "

"We came down to attend a wedding and took in some of the tourists attractions nearby. The cabin was perfect for our family. Very clean, inviting and comfortable. We loved the private location and wooded area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We definitely stay again. "
