"Restaurant was amazing! We dined on the panoramic terrace and the wine and meal was delicious! The hotel room was a generous size and had high quality linens. A generous breakfast was served in the inn’s dining room. We stayed here on a drive from southern to northern Italy and were very glad to have booked the place! "

"Friendly staff and great food! We had a Saturday dinner on arrival (pricier than weekday dinners but the pici pasta and florentina steaks were delicious) which was really a wonderful experience. The breakfast was tasty. Staff were always friendly. The property is great for walking around and so picturesque. "

"Poggio Piglia exceeded all expectations — the room was beautifully appointed, the pool serene and surrounded by stunning views, and the entire atmosphere incredibly relaxing. "This was a great place to stay for two nights in late October and to take out and back day trips by train to Siena and Florence on back-to-back days. Very close to the train station - very convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was small, but good. Highly recommend this location! It's small, but serviced and supported very well by the staff at the restaurant. "

"A dona da pousada e sua filha foram maravilhosas. Nós tivemos um imprevisto no trânsito e chegamos fora do horário mas elas entenderam a situação e nos acolheram como se fôssemos de sua família. A pousada é muito lindinha. Quarto cheiroso, limpo. Cama confortável e roupa de cama e banho bem macias. Chuveiro bem quente, delicioso. Estacionamento seguro! Lugar silencioso é ótimo! "The best accommodations we've had in Italy. The rooms are so cute! The stone walls, brick ceiling, and chandelier... I felt like I woke up in a castle. The entire property is just beautiful!! Breakfast was yummy. I wish I took more of the chocolate pastry. Staff was so helpful and friendly. We even met the owner, who was so kind and most generous. I highly recommend staying at Casale Serena. It would be best to get there before dark so you don't miss the signs to locate Serena. You can walk to...
