"Simply amazing, we had an Ocean View Bungalow for just the one night (if we had the time we would have loved to have stayed longer). Private beach, swimming pool, comfortable bed and so private, we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Highly recommend for couples or people like us who have spent weeks at sea and instead of staying overnight in Papeete on our Cruise Ship opted to rent a car and see the the real Tahiti. Loved it. "

"Valerie, our host/owner, was amazing and attentive to all of our needs. We enjoyed the property and the views of Ārue and the beach. Breakfast was great! Croissants are the best! They’re made in house and fresh. Also, Valerie was very knowledgeable of activities and landmarks for tourist to visit. We recommend to anyone visiting tahiti for the first time and looking to get away from big resorts and hotels. Great place!!! "

"What a great find! Beachfront property with a excellent view (although the beach was somewhat rocky)! "Poe" (property mgr) was a kind soul and was always there if we needed anything. King bed downstairs and singles in the upstairs loft. This property doesn't have A/C, so it does get somewhat warm during the day, but the Pacific breeze cools the space at night. Good value for the money!"

"When we located the property, it was a wonderful guest house. Note that guest houses have shared bathrooms and this one does not state that it has air conditioning. The proprietor was excellent and we loved being able to walk to the beach to snorkel!"

"Where do I begin do review this stay? In so many ways it was a stay of a lifetime. Mark’s Place is beautiful. Each bungalow is unique in design and amenities. Our bungalow had lots of windows and large glass patio door which led to a large deck with outside furniture. Our bungalow did not have toilet or shower contained within, but we did have private facilities directly across from our unit. The bungalows are not air conditioned, and the first couple of nights were warm. If needed Mark...
