Hotel Dekat Windward Beach Park

"We stayed at this hotel as a last minute overnight stay to come to point Pleasant for the Labor Day weekend. The towels were dirty with brown striations, the sheets were old, antique dingy, white bedsheets had stains. There was dust and spiderwebs everywhere. The vent in the bathroom was hanging off the ceiling top and the corners in the bathroom and the tub were brown and dirty. You can barely see anyone on site. There is no Wi-Fi available to the customers and even for a one night stay when...

"No hot water. No breakfast included. No near (walkable) restaurants/ shopping."

"Great stay! Highly recommend."

"We found that you were to be an attractive, well-maintained lodging with helpful staff. Spring Lake is a lovely town and the hotel has a wonderful location, adjacent to Spring Lake (the lake) itself and two blocks from the ocean, lovely areas for a walk."

"The refrigerator was dirty, the microwave was dirty inside (gross), the help had terrible body odor that you could smell more than 6 feet away. Ad mentioned it included breakfast... but it did not. Mattress was meh quality... very much like lightly covered springs. For $10 more I could have stayed at a Marriott, but I try to give local businesses a chance. This time it was a mistake."

"Staff"

"Clean room and staff was helpful. Short walk to the boardwalk."

"Close to the beach- no complaints at all."

"Best part of the property was the front desk staff. Very positive, very helpful and very pleasant. Free coffee was a nice touch. The facility are made up of 8 small rooms with bathrooms, king bed and decent amenities. Overall clean place and just seconds from the beach. Parking is a bit difficult as you have to back out each time you leave, and the parking spaces are tight."

"Everything was just perfect"

"I was traveling with my 1 Nd 4 year old grandchildren. The woman who checked me in at 2 was kind enough to let me store the luggage and porta-crib in her office until I came back with the kids. We didn’t get back until 7 and the woman at the front desk was overly kind and helpful. She brought my luggage cart up to my room so I could carry the baby. It was such a pleasure to have met such a wonderful and supportive staff. The same can be said for the front desk gentleman who retrieved my luggage...

"Room was spacious, clean, balcony There are no staff on property. You receive a code for your room door No front desk. Check in and out by text. There are no luggage carts. Resturant that is downstairs Blend is excellent. Parking is limited."
