Oct 2023 stay
Beautiful clean and comfy hotel with separate guest lounge if you need time out of your room. Plenty of guest parking and on a quiet side road, so no traffic noise. Would definitely go back.

Enjoyable stay
Only stayed for a night. Excellent location, very comfy bed, really clean and excellent breakfast. Nice idea to have a lounge with wine glasses to use with your own drink at the end of an evening out.

Lovely accommodation for our mini break
We stayed at jerichos guest house and would definitely return for future breaks in Windemere. It was clean, friendly and our deluxe room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Steve and Hayley are perfect hosts, making each guest feel welcome. The breakfasts were freshly made for each table as you book in at 15 min intervals. All choices of food were beautifully presented and made with quality foods. My husband and I have already recommended to family who go on walking holidays frequently.

The accommodation is beautiful. Truly a boutique hotel. Cleanliness is superb. Rooms serviced daily and towels changed if one chooses. A beautiful sitting room with wine glasses and tumblers for guests to use when supplying your own drinks. On our first evening we asked if it was possible to have some ice for the gin we had brought - before we went out for dinner. Other guests had been supplied with an ice bucket and ice. “Yes of course” was the response. That was it. None was brought and no apology given next morning for the reason it wasn’t supplied. didn’t have any left; overlooked it?? We never saw the owner again after asking for it. Somewhat disappointing. We’d just arrived after a very long drive. Only a small issue but the service didn’t support the fantastic accommodation . Breakfast. Bacon very dry. One sausage - couldn’t tell whether pork, beef or veggi. Rather tasteless and dry. Scrambled eggs questionable. Superb accommodation but, in my opinion, catering and customer service need a tad of attention.

I can not rave enough about my stay here at Jerichos. I travel alot but have only ever left reviews a few times in all my years so the fact that I'm leaving this one, speaks volumes. The hosts, Hayley and Steve are wonderful; calm, kind and positive. The place has a very peaceful vibe and the breakfast was great. This time i stayed on my own but next time i hope to come with family, and every other time i visit the lakes, i will want to stay here. 11/10. Can't not mention that next door is a lovely lady called Pam, whom i has the pleasure of speaking briefly to- she's just too lovely to not give a mention to. Thank you for reading, apologies for rambling

Fantastic welcoming hosts. Let us have our room early lots of advice very helpful. Clean spotless modern rooms very comfy bed perfect for all your needs in the lakes. And as for breakfast it could rival the very best restaurants in Britain! Amazing produce. As a chef myself to see somewhere using only the best produce was pleasing!

Hearty breakfasts and lakes accessible by bus
Comfy bed, excellent breakfast and hospitality. Would definitely stay here again when in the lakes. For someone without a car, this was a great place to stay for a quiet nights rest (away from the main roads) and accessibility of buses all around the central lakes. I did day hikes from Coniston, Ambleside and Grasmere. All easily accessible by bus from Windermere station.

Room smaller than we expected and although we had contacted directly when booking to check the bathroom woukd be shower only as my wife is disabled it was a bath with sbower over The room was decorated lovely with a fabulous bed Tea tray very basic for a boutique hotel Breakfast - full menu available

Our hosts were very welcoming. We had a supreme king room - very comfortable, and immaculate. TV in room. Spacious and spotlessly clean bathroom. Lots of local information provided. First class breakfast, with plenty of choice, and local produce. Lovely lounge area to sit and relax. This will always be the place to stay when we visit the Lake District.

Great stay, loved the area and the accommodation. Would stay again and would highly recommend. 9.5 out of 10, a couple of snagging points, but nothing that couldn't be easily sorted. Very clean, breakfast lovely for hubby, i would like option of pancakes or pasties as this is more me. Will book again, owners friendly and approachable.

Midweek stay
Two night stay in Windermere and the first time we stayed at Jericho’s. We got a call to say the room was ready early which was good. Although we had a little difficulty with the street being closed off we realised traffic could still use it for access. Other than that it is a great place to stay.
