"The property is timber framed and old, really old. Cleanliness and condition is very good but this building needs constant maintenance. We loved it, it’s very old and full of history. Very cute little town, very nice surroundings. We hit it in the middle of a heat wave and there is no AC, in fact there’s likely no AC in most of the village but the normal temperature does not require it. We were just unlucky. "The Grosvenor is on the main street, with it's own car parking behind the hotel. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. The decor throughout the hotel was attractive and all the rooms well maintained. We had the Mayfly suite, which had a four poster bed, seating area and a large bathroom. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu. The attractive garden has plenty of seating areas. The location was perfect for where we were visiting. We will definitely return to the Grosvenor."
