"The staff and rooms are very good. The location is great for cruises and the train station. The rooms need AC. Even though it was not that hot in Southampton, it was very humid. The room just felt muggy. The fan and very small window opening was not enough to air the room out."

"It always annoys me when people can’t tell the difference between dirty and slightly shabby, which I’m seeing in other reviews of this place. The place was clean, beds comfortable, shower pressure great, staff lovely, and location highly convenient. For the price I would highly recommend and would stay again. Only thing I would note is that for a booking for 4 people with a double and two singles, the two singles are a trundle bed so one person is on the floor and one on a bed. We travelled with two children so was no problem for us, but might be unpleasant for others."
