I stayed here for one night and was blown away. Knowing the history—how this place was brought back to life by local locals and farmers—makes it so special. The entire environment, from the clean and comfortable bedrooms to the brilliant bar and restaurant, is kept to a very high, proper standard. It is amazing what they achieved for a small country town. It is also the perfect base for sightseeing, with wonderful spots like Lake Tyrrell and the Silo Art...
"This property, while looking like a typical motel style is such a pleasant surprise. Our room 12a was a spacious, clean, well equipped room with plenty of inclusions, eg extra pillows, blankets, towels, breakfast provisions, fly spray and a great camp kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal. Camp kitchen also has indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent communication with staff and location to silo art and Lake Tyrrell made this a great stop."
"The team at Charlton Motel were very accomodating with a very late check-in everything was organised for my arrival. The motel is pet friendly for a small additional fee which is fantastic. My little poodle had a great time. Rooms are neat, clean, well presented and comfortable. A great stop over on a long trip or a great base to explore the local area."
