"Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful setting overlooking Swanage. Lovely gardens. Spa was a real treat. As with everthing not cheap, the drinks could have been priced more competitively, but most hotels have high bar prices for some reason?"

"So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical. Definitely worth an annual visit "

"I stayed for 2 nights and didnt fully experience what the hotel had to offer such as the spa, swimming pool, restaurant and bar area as i had my dog with me and understood that dogs wasnt allowed in the public areas ..... i would go back and stay again and hopefully get to enjoy the spa experience. "

"Great location for minutes walk to the beach and shops/restaurants albeit all accessible down steep hills not a problem for us Down the bottom of west hill road at the sea front is a funicular We stayed in room 7 a standard double Small but suitable for us and equipped for out 1 night stay The pool jacuzzi sauna steam room were an added treat Will be back "
