Quality Inn Williams Near Grand Canyon

6/10 Okay

"We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and beds in our room were pretty comfortable & clean. The front desk was really kind & helpful when needed. Our room phone didn't work to call them. One of the reasons we decide on hotels is whether they have a jacuzzi or not. The jacuzzi at this hotel did not look appealing at all. The water looked clean but it wasn't hot and the jacuzzi itself was either dirty or stained, but I didn't want to get in. There wasn't anywhere outside to sit and enjoy. The breakfast was adequate. They did have the make your own waffles, though. But I didn't taste them. It was ok for the price. Don't think I would stay again."

"If you check in after hours be aware that there are no signs and the parking lot is very dimly lit. There's nothing that tells you where they're after hours kiosk is. After some searching I realized it was inside of the first set of doors of their closed restaurant very poorly lit. Then the girl on the kiosk, Sia, briefly flashed a map to show me where my room is. As he buildings in this parking lot without any lights she didn't show me exactly which building. Then she didn't tell me any amenities such as where to find some ice that I needed because their rooms don't have refrigerators. The entire time she asked me for a review of her services. She would only accept a five star review. I was very tired and it was late and I was very taken aback and disgusted when she read the review I gave her and told me give me a five-star review. Then she sat there and waited for me to rewrite another review. As if that's all I wanted to do instead of checking into my room. I hadn't even stayed at the location yet and she gave me a review for the property. Then I got to my room and the Wi-Fi password did not work. When I called the front desk it was her again. She told me I was incorrect and we verified that I was typing in the words that she gave me and I never got internet and she never cared. She just told me maybe it will work later. The final straw was when I was carrying my bags back to my car in the morning at a rat ran across my shoe. I just don't recommend this location."

"Friendly front desk staff. Nice, renovated room. Pet friendly and lots of outdoor space to take your dog. Breakfast was excellent. They offered everything and food was hot and very good. BW is located in a beautiful setting in the pines and yet it is just on the west end of town. Takes 3-4 minutes to get to all the activity on old Route 66"

"The room was okay. It needs updating. Peeling paint in bathroom. The beds were comfortable. Disappointing breakfast. It was advertised as breakfast available with a surcharge. Front desk knew nothing about it and told us to go to the connecting restaurant. There we were told they were completely separate from the hotel. Breakfast with a surcharge is deceptive advertising."
