"I would recommend anyone staying in Nacogdoches for travel to certainly treat themselves to a special stay at Fredonia Hotel. The hotel itself is a very lovely boutique hotel. As I was admiring the small, special details in my room, it almost makes me feel like they could be the Beverly Hilton hotel’s little sister, it’s an upscale fun hotel. The restaurant menu selection is excellent, the food was amazing-I took home some of my salmon dinner, it was too delicious. The team working the City Cafe were very knowledgeable and were very helpful when I was trying to decide on my meals. The front desk team, my goodness they were so incredibly patient and kind to me. I forgot to call the hotel a few days prior to let them know I’m allergic to down pillows. It hit me the first night late, I was a sight for sore eyes-literally. They genuinely wanted to help me feel better. The lengths they went to within their abilities were outstanding and class act. I truly enjoyed my stay and next time I’ll call ahead for my synthetic pillows."

"Upon arrival it was quick and easy at first. Our first room has smoke detector going off and bathroom was not operational. I went back to front desk and was assigned another room. The keys didn’t work to no fault of the staff. The actual keypad was broken. I stayed in that room instead of opting for another room. The staff graciously let me in when I needed in. They were friendly and upbeat the entire time."

Breakfast did not have a very large selection but everything was cooked well, fresh, and tasted fine and my family had plenty. Ample parking. Second time staying at this hotel and I recognized some staff from last year, which means at least not all the staff positions have a high turnover rate."
