"The Harbinson House was a great place to stay for going to a show at Ace of Spades. It is in a beautiful historic neighborhood and the place itself is a quirky historic home. I was able to walk back and forth from the venue while looking at the amazing architecture of the houses. My room had an Alice In Wonderland theme with a functioning Victorola which was really cool. "Sign in bathroom states that room will be make up every 2 days. Didn't happened. Went to front desk to get towels assuming that we will get fresh ones when the room is made up. I was told room service has to be requested. So I did and next morning after breakfast I requested that the room to be made up again and she wrote my room number down on a pad. Surprised the next night that room didn't get made up. Had to run to front desk to get roll of toilet paper cos we ran out. So we stayed 4 nights...

"Hotel is currently being remodeled but that's a good thing, even if there's a some signs of work going on. Location is good for a quick rest stop along I-5, which is why we chose it. Staff was nice and breakfast was typical for a mid level hotel. My only complaint was being charged for parking when there is ample surface parking in the area. Maybe I missed it at booking, but it felt like being unnecessarily dinged."

"I would stay here again. Loved the location in Old town Sacramento. Shopping was amazing. Room was a typical smallish ship stateroom. Restaurant was good. I was awakened in the wee hours by barking Sea Lions. They provide ear plugs, but I thought it was uniquely charming and annoying all at the same time."
