"Hotel is beautiful and the superior room was stunning, the decor, the bathroom is luxurious and the hotel made us a little Congratulations chocolate platter and card for our recent wedding which was a lovely touch. There was only one problem which was the heated towel rail in bathroom was so hot I burnt my arm, I did inform reception as needs to be attended. "It was a nice place and clean until we pulled the sofa bed out and it was dirty, a quick hover wouldn't have done it any harm. Overall its a nice place to stay, we did try and phone the numbers given to inform of the condition of the sofa bed however not one number was answered, we ended up getting the caretaker, who was 100% helpful"

"We love staying here and use it when we are visiting our daughter at Uni. It's an ideal location and we are only a few minutes walk from the bars and restaurants for the evening . It's also super close to the racecourse if people are visiting for that. The rooms are finished to a high standard and offer a comfy relaxed stay. "

"The ten pound parking charge on arrival was a big surprise,apparently it was mentioned on the site we booked with but was in such small letters we missed it just be aware this is a price per night. We have stayed here before and chose it because it was a five minute walk into the centre of Chester and it was just as good as our last visit.
