"What I didn’t appreciate was the cost of the hotel. I stayed in the same hotel a month or so before and it was half the price. I understand the cost was double because of an event in the area that I was not aware of. If that was known at the booking and I was told of it during the booking I would have gone elsewhere. Because we enjoyed our previous stay at hotel I didn’t notice the increase. Lesson learnt I guess."

"The bedroom is fine until you open the bathroom door, then it’s like stepping back to the 1970s! So dated! The hair dryer is sticky to handle. No soundproofing. Doors slam constantly. Breakfast is poor quality with awful coffee. Used to be better when stayed last year. Too much cost cutting will be its demise!"

"The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast at the restaurant next-door was not very good at all. We noticed some of the plates were not clean.It’s hard to wash your face when you have very hot water coming out of one faucet and very cold coming out of another, so I think the plumbing needs to be updated. It would’ve been helpful to have a soap dish of some sort in the shower to put my own products on rather than putting them on the floor."

"Friendly staff, comfy bed, great breakfast. I personally didn’t like the smell of the shower gel (lavender type smell) but other than that it was great. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Stayed while a festival was on so was very busy and although some food did run out at breakfast time as soon as it was mentioned to staff they replenished it straight away and were so helpful. Great vibes. Would definitely stay again"

"Front desk staff Bobby was very helpful during check in and throughout our stay. Mandy and Karen in the restaurants were amazing as we had the pleasure of seeing them daily, made of feel very welcome. The chefs made breakfast, lunches and evening dinners very nicely, and the food was all top shelf. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay, and would definitely stay at your location when we are next in Milton Keynes"
