"Beautiful hotel in historic building with a very quiet neighborhood all very close to everything in the city. Parking is very easy and if full they allow you park in the staff area. "This is a gorgeous place to stay! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the property is impeccable and superbly located on the Necker a few minutes walk from the Alte Brücke. My room was a single on the top floor, small but more than adequate for a single guest, charmingly decorated, with a skylight window and a small (and useful) fridge was included. I didn’t try the breakfast but I will next trip, as I will surely return to this jewel of a hotel! "

"Great place in the middle of shops and cafes. So fun!! Only thing I’ll mention is- no hairdryer and no shampoo. Also. Finding it is tricky- that’s totally on us- being American and trying to drive through all the people to figure out where we were was stressful. Once we learned that there was a parking garage- everything was great. Highly recommend location. "

"Historical hotel in a great location in the Altstadt. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has great regional offerings. Please note, some of the rooms only have a window to an indoor hallway and not the outdoors. I apparently unknowingly signed up for such a room. When I raised it with hotel staff, they quickly gave me a different room with windows to the outdoors. However, I was lucky they had such a room available as the hotel is very popular."

"Being right in-front of the church in the old town square was great. Makes wondering around convenient and you feel you can see more as you are nearly always walking distance. The on-site restaurant had wonderful food, and the selection of beer and wine rounded out the evening. I have to say the staff was remarkable. Always so much fun having conversations about how they go through life and to see their impressions of America. Would highly recommend as the place to stay."
