It did not disappoint! We used the hotel’s large gym before an amazing dinner. Free WiFi required a bonvoy membership (which is free) but slightly annoying."

"For the cost of the hotel, we were pretty disappointed. We expected better service throughout the weekend I had called 3x to confirm that a crib will be in our room upon our arrival as we were going to be there close to our son’s bedtime. I called to confirm on our way to the hotel as well, and they said it was already there. Going to our room, it was not and it took close to an hour to get one, throwing our sons entire bedtime off. "Wir waren mit unserer Tochter für 1 Nacht im Inn und fanden es klasse. Es war schön, sauber , wir hatten ein großes Zimmer und der freundliche Empfang hat es für uns besonders gemacht. Auch die Empfehlung für das Abendbrot war klasse und wir haben uns sehr gut unterhalten mit dem netten Herrn an der Rezeption , der uns mehr über Newport erzählen konnte. Es war spannend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen."

"If you are looking to stay near Bowman’s Warf this is the perfect place. It’s quaint, quiet and the breakfast is delicious! They were so helpful and friendly and I will be returning! This Inn is in walking distance to the free trolley service and shopping."

"Poor service and waited an hour after standard check in at 4 pm for our room to be ready. After entering the room, which should have been clean, we found something quite disgusting on the bed so if the sheets were changed this item would not have been there. The room was obviously not cleaned. We ended up not staying at the Viking and checked into another hotel and had a great experience. The Viking was very disappointing after the so called “renovation”. We will not be visiting the Viking...

"We were celebrating our anniversary here and the womanbat the front desk blessed us with a king suite upgrade, it was so nice to have the extra living room space! Driver of the shuttle was very nice and the staff at the hotel and restaurant were top notch. Restaurant was great, way better than I thought based on the "diner" vibe."
