"Everything was good room was clean newly renovated it looked like we were very happy with our stay everybody was very helpful and asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable thank you Hampton inn"

"Lovely hotel ( looks more like condos) on the edge of town surrounded by trees and green. Staff was very helpful and available early and late. We had a suite (highly recommend). Very cute town, good restaurants, farmers market on Saturday. We took the train from Rutland to NYC. It was a 2 hour drive from Albany."

Instead, this place is old, dilapidated, poorly maintained and in need of major updates, if that is even possible. It's an old wooden fire trap. Despite the pictures, this is not "Bob Newhart's Vermont Inn." Instead, this place is run down. No elevator, unless you can locate a staff member to operate it, so enjoy the walk to the 4th floor. "Dated hotel and rooms. Grab and Go breakfast was meager. Staff were friendly but did not go out of their way to accommodate...and there were not many guests in the facility. Due to limited options for hotels in the area, would likely use again. Another hotel in town was double the cost."

"Clean and comfortable. Not too expensive. Location, location, location! Convenient to everything you're likely to want to do in Ticonderoga. The pool and hot tub are nice amenities. If they have a gym, I didn't see it. Perhaps it's on the second floor? Breakfast is included; and it's really pretty good. My companion noted that the egg omelets all seemed to include cheese. I guess if you're lactose intolerant that could be an issue- probably the hot foods should be labeled. The restaurant / bar...

"The room we had was musty/moldy smelling. The ceilings had cracks due to age. Breakfast was good for the price point and the rest of the stay (beds, bathroom, etc) were clean and fine. It was ok for one night but I’d look for a different option for more than a night. Oh, location was also good."
