Nice stay in White Rock

Our room had an excellent view from the balcony. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and helped us with our luggage.

Beautiful view in a great location

Beautiful view from the cute little terrace. It’s in a fabulous location near a strip of restaurants that included a wonderful coffee shop (Laura’s) and amazing pizza (Emelia’s). Like the best!!! A short walk for those in shape to the main beach area, pier and restaurants. The room had coffee, creamers, wine glasses, opener, fridge. Unfortunately, it’s furnishings are dated otherwise it would be a 5.

Amazing experience!

It was amazing, only comment would be is to have instructions/packet for us, in the entry. We arrived and door was accidentally unlocked, so we did not have any instructions, called and said we were inside already, then received instructions. Great stay, will recommend to anyone!

Adel was very nice and low pressure, self check-in was easy. had my own private parking, she even let me plug my EV into the wall socket, level one, but it got me the extra energy i needed for running into Vancouver and back. thank you, I appreciate your help with the EV and TV :)

We had reserved a king room with a soaking tub but were sent an email with check in instructions for a different room with a queen room and regular bathtub. There was no staff on the premises to talk to and we didn’t have a strong wifi signal so we couldn’t call or email to ask why we didn’t get the room we requested. Also a bit disappointing that it’s called a Bed & Breakfast but there was no breakfast. And no cream for the in-room coffee. All in all, it was fine but we will probably look for another place on our next trip.

The views from this room are great. Walkable to the Marine drive for lots of dining options. Room has some amenities, like coffee and tea. The mini-fridge is helpful for snacks. Wish there was an in-room microwave, as the kitchen was not usable. It is really a rented room in a house, as they are no longer operating as a bed and breakfast. Probably would stay here again.

The view from the balconies of this property is lovely. Unfortunately, there was a puddle of water just outside the sliding door on our room’s balcony. This was strange because we stayed during a hot spell. We had to be careful that we didn’t slip from wet shoes when we came back into our space. The shared living room could have been nice but I wasn’t comfortable there for several reasons. First- in the living room there was someone’s laundry drying on a stand (including underwear) during our two day stay and clean bed sheets strewn on the sofa. Second- there was a layer of dust on the furniture. We were grateful for air conditioning in our bedroom. But the area of our space with the sofa bed had no AC and so it was very uncomfortable in that room.

Stayed in the big room with jacuzzi. Very spacious, very nice views. Property is showing its age. There wasnt enough water to fill the jacuzzi, and the plug doesnt stop water from draining. Didnt have blackout drapes, so was hard to sleep with all the light in morning. I would stay again though for the location, but its not a 4 star hotel.

Lovely room, spacious, amazing view from our room. Huge ensuite. Bed comfortable. Everything clean and lovely presented. Very relaxing place to stay at. Close to shops, cafes,and bus to train station then train into Vancouver. Lovely and friendly host. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. バンクーバー国際空港からはスカイトレインとバスで簡単に行けました。 事前にエントランスのアクセスコードがtextとメールで送られてきて、だいたいの到着時間を知らせると、部屋のアクセスコードも知らせてくれました。この様なスタイルの宿泊は初めてだったので緊張しましたが、オーナーさんの的確な説明で無事にチェックインできました。 部屋はベッドルームとリビングが別々でとても広くて清潔で、窓からは海が見渡せました。 冷蔵庫があり、コーヒーマシン、電気ケトル、浄水ボトルが置かれていて、とても重宝しました。 バスルームはバスタブがあり、使わなかったけどバスローブも用意されていました。 壁が薄いのか、隣の話し声が聞こえて来ましたか、許容範囲範囲です。 坂を下って行くと、桟橋のあるビーチまではすぐです。 近くにカフェもあり、少し歩くと夜10時までやっている大型スーパーもあります。 Blue Frog Studiosのコンサートのために利用しましたが、周辺は夜遅くても安心できる環境でした。 他の宿泊者はテェックアウトの時間に一組見かけただけで、オーナーさんとも一度もお会いすることがなかったので残念でしたが、用かあればtextでやり取りしていたので安心でした。

I booked this propery as a B&B, as the ad was that i found on Expedia. This should of been made clear that it is no longer that. This is no more than a 2 star hotel or whatever it is. There is not much included, no ice machine, no drink glasses, no extra towels,( I had to ask for them and find the closet where they are stored. ). The patio door is very difficult to open, the deck chairs are filthy. The general cleanliness is poor, base boards dirty, the bathroom tile grout needs cleaning, dust bunnies. The free parking is on the street. I would not recommend this place.
