"I loved the grounds, pool, cats, view, cleanliness, and the scratch-made breakfast buffet. The landscaping was beautifully manicured, and the pool was immaculate. The room was super clean, and the unscented sheets were perfect for my allergies. Having spent 25 years in the hospitality industry, I am extra cognizant of quality, service, and cleanliness. The property was very quiet. No doors slamming; it felt like staying in someone's home. Although I'm an equestrian, I didn't do any horse activities, but other guests loved their experiences. The breakfast was hot and comprehensive. The staff was chipper and kept everything well-stocked. They provided great drinks and snacks all day, plus a medicine cabinet and fridge for leftovers after dining in beautiful Madison. Note for future guests: they provide a gratuity envelope to be turned into the office. We are not accustomed to tipping at a B&B and don't travel with cash, so come prepared for that. My only critique is the mandatory arrival tour. While it's a great idea, I suggest letting guests check into rooms first. I had only slept for one hour and needed time to regroup. Between the exhaustion and the heat, I thought I was going to pass out. Perhaps the tour could be done via a QR code instead to help out guests and staff. Just a thought."

"The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The water pressure in the shower was amazing but the shower doors are a bad thought. Too much water gets all over the floors. But all in all I highly recommend this hotel."
