We unfortunately had to leave in the night As my mum couldn’t cope at all. But the room was fantastic. The view even though I didn’t get my breakfast. The customer service was amazing. I’m just gutted my mums to to poorly. I thought I had this year to take places of they took us as kids. But she can’t manage To sleep at night and wonders around the house. She wanted go out the room. Because she was so restless. My apologies for any disturbance as we got up to leave in the middle of the night. I really wanted to this year to be I Whitby as much as possible. When I get a chance to take some time off. My mums not going to be able to come. I very rarely get a rest caring for your parents. But would highly recommend this lovely b&b. I hope they understood

The only thing I could have found fault with was the shower - it was more like gentle rain, rather than a tropical storm. Having said that, I had a great stay. The property is less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and the Cleveland Way, giving the oportunity of a 15 minute walk into Whitby in one direction and about a half hour walk to Sandsend in the other. Also close to regular bus service. There was a warm welcome, great service, plenty of parking space, a lovely comfy bed and great choice for an English breakfast.

Both my husband and I were so happy with the establishment and with the owners. Chris (manager) made us so welcome. There was plenty of parking space, and our room and en-suite was so clean, comfortable and quiet. The promenade was close by and we had a pleasurable walk into Whitby. In the morning, the owners made a lovely and refreshing breakfast, and the young lady who brought our meal was so polite and pleasant. We would be more than happy to go to Haven Crest again.

Great B&B with perfect hosts in a good location. A fair walk into the centre of Whitby but fine if you don't mind that and prefer a quieter spot with lovely views! Chris was very welcoming and helpful re parking when we arrived. Fay couldn't have been more attentive at breakfast (lovely food too). Very happy to recommend and would definitely love to go back.

We were a bit worried about the location and how long it would take to walk into Whitby town , but the location was perfect just a little nice walk . Parking was a plus it was good not having to worry about the car . Hosts and staff couldn't have been nicer I'd definitely recommend staying here .

Probably best to stay in summer
The property was fine, they were friendly, and the room was comfortable. A hearty English breakfast was included, as was parking. Quiet neighbourhood, felt safe, with easy access to everything in Whitby. The only (yet huge) problem was that the heating is shut off between 10pm and 7am (even though it's winter). It didn't come on at 7am either. I had to call down about it around 8am. It got down to 2C (35F) that night. We were freezing and were told the next day that they give portable heaters to the rooms, but we weren't given one. That seems like a BIG oversight. And honestly, the customer shouldn't have to be responsible for asking for their room to be heated. So probably best to stay in summer.

From when we arrived had a lovely welcome room very comfortable Breakfast was beautifully cooked and set us both up for the day Pub opposite for evening meals and a lovely walk into Whitby Would recommend this lace to anyone anc would definitely stay again

This was a very pleasant experience. Well kept property in an area near the sea with great walking paths. Loved how well we were recieved on arrival and how very nice the staff were during the stay. Our room was a "10".

The locashon was great service was spot. On the bedroom was nice and comfortable and you got a very nice breakfast served well if I had a complaint it was that I would of liked a sea view

A Lovely Break
A lovely break, the accommodation was warm, clean and modern. The food was fresh and cooked to order, a lovely selection to meet all tastes. Beautiful walks from the property. Will definitely be rebooking again soon.

We were greeted as we arrived and shown where to park. On going to our room, we were really happy with the cleanliness and size of the room. It's a tidy walk down to the harbour, and after refreshments decided to get a taxi back. Slept well and had a good hot breakfast. Wish the weather had been a little better, but no one can control that

Haven Crest, Whitby.
I booked on line. Haven Crest is located within walking distance of the town centre. The Guest House is immaculate, our room was spotless and comfortable. The Owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. My wife and I were made very welcome. Breakfast was superb. I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment. Without doubt we will be returning to Haven Crest.

Weekend in Whitby
Room was slightly small but adequate the Staff were all friendly and helpful offstreet parking we arrived early and this did not cause any problems. There is a lovely pub over the road with good food.
