"What I loved, the beds and shower I miss already! The Ponderosa is currently undergoing a transformation and our room was clean with all new furnishings and windows. Small kitchenette with full size refrigerator. We walked everywhere but Mike can rent you a golf cart at a very reasonable price if you need. Food choices were all within a six or seven minute walk for us. Very quiet at night with no disturbances. We definitely will return. Mike was attentive and easy to reach. "

"Alpine Lodge was a perfect place to stay during our Red River trip. My wife and I loved how close it was to everything. Literally right next to the ski lift. Staff was super friendly and very helpful getting checked in and out. Bed was comfortable and perfect size for the two of us. "Beautiful spot, close enough to town but still has a quiet out in the country feel. Our room has a small “patio” in back where we enjoy sitting to read or look at the sky. Breakfast was delicious and the host is very helpful. Will come back!"

"Everything about this was wonderful. The service was personal and exceptional. Lucas, the manager was first rate. The property is nestled among cottonwoods just SE of downtown. It was quiet and close. Our room was spacious and lovely with a courtyard garden area, dining area, fireplace, coffee, fridge and AC. The bathroom was huge, beautiful and spa like.
