Thanks for taking the time to post this review. As this isn't linked to a specific booking it makes it a bit more difficult to rectify any issues. However, we are doing some refurbishments to some of our older bathrooms this winter. Glad you found our beds to be comfortable. We've just been round and replaced all our older beds with brand new super comfy ones, so we're glad this has been well received. Thanks.

As we said to you in reception we are very sorry that someone had put a ping pong ball down one of the pool table pockets, this does stop some of the other balls coming out unfortunately. We do have signs on the pool table asking people not to do this - but as I'm sure you can understand, there is very little we can do to fully prevent it. We did refund you and rectify the problem as soon as we were made aware. Sorry to hear that you found the toilet tight in your deluxe unit. This is the first feedback of that we have had. Thank you for making us aware. We may be able to look at that as part of our long term bathroom refurbishment plans in the future. Thanks again for taking the time to tell others about your stay. Thanks for taking the time to post this review. Obviously we are disappointed with your score and the fact you were not satisfied with your stay. I believe you chose to book a Kitchen Cabin. These are studio cabins with a double bed and 2 sets of bunk beds, plus kitchenette, dining area and TV. They have recently been renovated and we have had some awesome feedback from guests on how good they are. We've also added shower rooms literally next door, so guests don't have far to go for showers - particularly helpful at night or in the wet. We aim to make the situation regarding bedding as clear as possible to all potential guests when choosing our accommodation. For example the photos on Hotels.com show the beds with just fitted sheets and pillows with pillow cases and there is a note in the Ts&Cs stating that there is an extra charge for bedding and towels. We also sent you 2 emails following your online booking; both had links to our brochure and both stated that there was a bedding hire charge for the kitchen cabins. I understand this was again explained when you checked in and bedding was offered at that stage, but you chose not to hire. We have a well indicated video intercom outside reception for any out of hours queries and one of our team would have been more than happy to assist you with the bedding outside of office hours had you rung it. There are 2 heaters in your cabin but I apologise if these had not been turned on in advance of your arrival. We have various styles of unit and aim to cater for all budgets and requirements. We find our wide range of accommodation options has something to suit everyone. We have self-contained units and 4* motels, all of which are supplied with full linen and towels and have en-suite shower and kitchen facilities. Something like this may have suited you better perhaps. Thanks

They have heat pumps and are double glazed and insulated, which all helps make them so cozy in winter (and also airy and cool in the summer). Hopefully we will see you back here some other time. We were glad to be able to move you to a larger unit at no extra cost the 2nd night as our guests' comfort and happiness is our number one priority. As I don't have your name I can't check your particular booking, but the extra charge would have either been for an extra person who was not included on the original booking, or for a bedding hire charge that was not included on the original booking. It is always best to very carefully double check what you have booked and how many people you're paying for when making online bookings. This is why we aim to send out a direct email to you after booking from a 3rd party site such as this, to confirm exactly what you have booked and paid for, so you can make changes to correct it if necessary.
