Satisfactory for an overnight stay. Good location on seafront. Staff were friendly however insistent on offering me and my partner separate beds despite multiple times saying we were ok with a double. And giving us the third bed anyway. Obviously the only gays in the village! May need to increase their awareness of modern-day society.

Worst room is #307. No air circulation, you feel the springs in bed, no water pressure in shower and beds feel tilted. And no free parking. Take your chances of on street parking if it's available

We arrived and couldn't find the reception and signs are not clear. After 15 mins walking up and down stairs and finding locked doors, we found the reception at the back of the property (weird place for a reception). Parking was full at the property and they gave us a permit to park 10 to 15 mins walk away. They handed us the key, and told us how to find the room but instructions not clear. The hotel is a maze. We found the stairs in the end, and the signs again not clear! They have different wings and room numbers are confusing. We opened the toom door and the smell of sewage knocked us back, our seaview room was tiny and definitely not as expected from the photos, bed was an old springy mattress deformed so had a dip in the middle, pillows are terribly uncomfortable. Carpet had stains, furnitures was stained and old, used plastic bag in one of the side drawers, shower was tiny with no pressure and scolding hot water, toilet wasn't properly bolted to the floor AND had a public hair in it (wasn't clean). The window wwasnt lockable due to the lock and the fixture being VERY unaligned. Room was freezing when we got back after dinner and no heating on. Morning was boiling as they seemed to have the heating on again. We went to the bar and ordered cocktails which were very nice and then decided to get dinner. We ordered 2 chillis at the bar and waited an hour, when they didn't arrive we complained and they said the order wasn't in the system. We got the food in the end.

Nice character to the building, rooms pretty basic but ok nice sea view, parking is a bit awkward as they have to move other cars around to let you in or out Downside they write your name and room number on a piece of paper and display this on you car dashboard and also put your room number on your key fob, must be a better way Food was good be it a little pricey staff friendly and helpful

We loved the old building and the staff were lovely. There are a few issues with maintenance that could be easily sorted, but on the whole we loved it.

Arrived to our room which stunk of paint and within 20 minutes had a banging head ache! Spoke to reception and got moved to another room after threatening to leave and ask for refund! Original they told us they had no spare rooms but got moved eventually. Second room was much better

We stayed in this property for 4 nights and booked breakfast, however they only offered cold breakfast because of the time of year. But £35 is not value for a cold breakfast. We found a dirty sock under my grandsons bed, the room was dirty and cold. It was supposed to be a family room but was not a suitable size for a family room. The only good about thing about this hotel is the games and the bar staff were very nice and helpful. The management passed too many of their jobs to staff members who already had jobs to do. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Booking for two adults one child. First impressions were okay, but it’s advertised as a hotel and spa which is the reason we booked this hotel. But there is no spa so it makes the hotel then quite pricey as we paid to get spa access too and could have found a regular hotel or bnb for a cheaper price. Very disappointed with this. We did have a small upgrade from sofa bed room to a double and single bed room which was nice, but only because the room we had booked wasn’t ready when we came to check in. The room was nice, but the shower was poor and had no pressure at all. We went to the bar to play pool and have a couple of drinks and the staff just walked past us like we weren’t there and only noticed as we were about to leave. Overall the room was good, but disappointing the hotel isn’t as advertised.

Fantastic place to stay in Weymouth.
Great Location on the Esplanade and very close to public transport (train is only about 5 min away and bus to Lulworth stops right outside property). Very clean and well taken care of. Staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect location to walking in the area and visiting Dorchester as well.

The hotel of you could call it that was very tired looking the room & bathroom were all on a slope The beds were horrendous & awake from 3am the noise from the refrigeratorated box outside our window was very noisy & you needed windows open as very hot in room The rooms needed re vamping as really bad I paid just over £100 then to be told in the morning breakfast wasn’t included that would cost £22 for two Staff friendly but very scruffy looked like they were running a hostel Very small carpark nose to tail parking had to leave key with reception so cars could be moved plus cost £10 on top Wouldn’t return should be called a hotel Very grim

Gorgeous sea view
It was a nice break from our normal routine. The room was compact but functional - shower was small for the larger person! Gorgeous view out to sea from large window. The hotel is a mix of buildings and is a bit of a maze. The restaurant was pleasant and breakfast more than sufficient but a bit limited.
Looking out from our room towards bandstand and out to sea. Photo doesn’t really do it justice.

Check-in was complicated, involving providing credit card details to cover what they told me was an 'Expedia Virtual Card' booking, then car parking required handing over my car keys or choosing one of two Long Stay public car parking options far away, with complicated maps and instructions/ further administrative steps. Apart from that, the hotel was good value for money.

Very mediocre stay
The room was clean staff generally were helpful. Breakfast was expensive and Luke warm. Parking was not free and expensive. Cars were stacked one behind the other. Making it difficult to get out. You are required to leave keys at reception so that members of staff can shuffle cars around. Fortunately for us our car was not damaged.

The hotel is okay. It has a splendid position in the seafront but it needs work. The lifts are creaky and tiny. Some do not work. You cannot get from the reception to rooms in the other wing without using two lifts. The hotel needs a clearer sign from the front as it is not obvious which is the Jubilee. It also needs a sign to tell you that the reception is accessed via the carpark, open from the road behind the hotel. I booked three rooms, which were in the third floor. They had a great seaview. Third floor rooms are hot. Not all the windows open. Not all have fans in them. None of our rooms had reliable hot water. One room had water that was cold one minute and scalding hot the next. The others just had cold water. The water pressure was very low. The rooms were ok with a double bed and sofabed in each. They were clean but all had mould in the en-suites. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast (£10.95 adults, £7 children), which was plentiful and nicely laid out. The bar was fine, if a bit noisy sometimes. This hotel seems to offer all kinds of amenities but everything is extra and the reception staff have obviously been told to mention all the services at check-in. Parking (£10) was a bit of a palaver but both our cars did get a spot. Be aware that the hotel keeps the keys so they can juggle cars around in the cramped space. Overall, we had a decent time but would probably not stay again.
