A wonderful stay at Calm Sea Guesthouse. We had a lovely spacious room with comfortable beds and nice extra touches like a packet of sweets for our teenage boys and biscuits for us. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk - what a treat! Mel and Trish could not have made us feel more welcome. Trish cooked a delicious breakfast each morning, and Mel gave us a wealth of tips and suggestions for eating out and places to visit. A first rate stay, highly recommend.

Great short stay

We spent 4 nights in room 2, and were well looked after from start to finish. Mel and Trish were excellent hosts, very knowledgeable and gave good recommendations for the local area. They helped with parking as it's a busy area and overall we had a lovely time.

Awesome service!!

We had such a wonderful stay at this Guesthouse! From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The hosts gave us great recommendations for local places to eat and visit, which made our trip even more special. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious. Overall, everything was perfect – a truly friendly and homely atmosphere. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to others!

The whole experience was fantastic. Mel & Trish couldn’t have made as feel more welcome or do enough for us. The guesthouse is a beautiful property, had everything you needed was in the room, we had a comfortable stay, great breakfast & choices. We will definitely return to stay at this guesthouse . From before our holiday even started, our hosts were attentive and informative. Mel and Trish were extremely welcoming and helpful. They met my family and I at our drop off location and took us to the guesthouse showing us all the best attractions and places to eat. We felt right at home when we arrived and the room was immaculate, with lovely treats for all of us - the games for the kids was an amazing touch - we loved the fresh milk in the fridge too! From old to young, our hosts went all out for each one of us and we could see all the guests were well looked after. Breakfast was fantastic, sooo delicious and fresh. Plenty of options and nothing felt too much for Trish and Mel who were not fussed by any request, in fact our hosts would arrange solutions before we even had to ask which was just amazing and heartwarming. we felt so safe and comfortable. Property is so close to the beach with lots of eateries around. Downstairs in hotel is a handy tuck shop. Plenty of tea and coffee to keep everyone satisfied. The overall experience was like going from home to home. There is nothing to fault and we feel beyond blessed to have experienced such lovely hosts for our trip. We are already planning our return. My stay at Calm Sea Guesthouse in Weymouth was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The location couldn't be better—just steps from Weymouth Bay, a short walk to the Jubilee Clock Tower, and minutes from the gorgeous Weymouth Beach. Whether you're planning to explore the Jurassic Coast or simply enjoy the local charm, this guesthouse is a perfect base. The room was beautifully and individually decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—the memory foam mattress and Egyptian cotton sheets made it hard to get up in the morning! I felt so well taken care of with all the thoughtful touches, including complimentary toiletries, a hair dryer, and free Wi-Fi. But what truly made the stay memorable were the hosts, Trish and Mel. They were amazing—so friendly and accommodating. They even went out of their way to grab an ice pack for a sore foot and gave me so many fantastic tips on places to visit and explore in the area. Their warmth and genuine hospitality really stood out. And of course, meeting Little Miss Bow was an extra treat—what a sweetheart! The complimentary English breakfast, served fresh each morning, was delicious and the perfect start to my day. Thank you, Trish and Mel, for a truly lovely stay. I’ll absolutely be back!

Trish and Mel offered an excellent service at their guesthouse, they even met us up at the railway station to provide a short tour of the area. Every morning at breakfast they asked about plans for the day and provided some additional ideas and tips, wanting to make sure their guests get the best possible out of their stay. Five Stars - A Truly Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing experience staying at Clam sea Guesthouse . I would echo previous good reviews

As the rooms had been recently refurbished, mine was modern, clean and double glazed. Everything worked properly and there was no shortage of hot water. Breakfast was fine and the hosts were very attentive. It's a short walk to the seafront, not far from the centre of town and a little further to the harbour. There was a decent sized chest of drawers and a little fridge. The wardrobe was just a rail hanging over a shelf and it's likely that long coats would put the shelf out of use for any writing etc. But the owners have made the best of the existing layout.

Memorable stay in Weymouth

We highly recommend staying at Mel and Trish’s bed and breakfast! They were exceptional hosts, providing fantastic tips on local activities and even taking the time to show us around the city. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious, and the peaceful environment ensured we had restful nights - even it‘s only a minute away from the beach. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Wonderful

Went to meet family in Weymouth and never been , amazing find , very good value and lovely people . Room was great , en-suite lovely - lots of choice for breakfast and a great location . To be very picky - some guidance of were to park before we arrived would be great - we drove 6 hours then in circles looking for a space . They were very helpful when we arrived but had to move the car .

Amazing hosts and stay

A truly wonderful stay at Calm Sea guesthouse. The owners, Mel and Trish couldn’t be more accommodating, providing restaurant recommendations and discounts and nothing was too much trouble. They even opened the kitchen early on the Sunday so I could have a breakfast before an early set off (which was delicious). The room was spotless with lovely extra touches. Fantastic all round

Gorgeous guesthouse

What a lovely find. Very clean and comfortable room. The owners are really lovely and helpful with lots of knowledge about the local area. Dressed the room beautifully. Had tea/coffee and a little fridge with real milk in it. Will definitely stay here again.
