"Excellent all round "

"Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. "

The young lady (who seemed quite new) on the reception desk was very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help, despite being honest that she was new and it might take a little time to sort a few things. Can’t ever fault anyone for their honesty as everyone has to start somewhere so thank you very much to her for making me feel so welcome. "

"This is an excellent hotel/inn. Very convenient for the local wedding venues, especially convenient for Coltsfoot Retreat. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, they are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. The breakfast is excellent, very generous, well prepared and presented, exactly what is needed the morning after the night before. "

"I have stayed before on many occasions, although no staff to greet you now, the lock boxes for room keys works effectively. Staff are super lovely, very accommodating. Breakfast was tasty, paid extra for cooked option, but plentiful continental. Would highly recommend. Warm regards, Heidi and Evie😄"

"Very well located hotel for Harry Potter Studios and also the local train station for trains into London. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent price, including a free breakfast, which was great. Most of all, the staff were all excellent, very friendly, efficient and very good at their jobs! We would definitely stay again."
