"It was clean, nicely feeling accommodation in a retro style. The retro does NOT mean old and worn out, but more like the feeling of staying in a small local museum. The rooms are the biggest I stayed in during my two-week road trip in Iceland. Location is best - first line facing ocean / harbor. The only thing I liked less where showers. They where ok, but I would do there some renovations to match the entire guesthouse level."

"The room was comfortable, clean and the property has amazing views. We had our own bathroom, which is rare with these budget hostels in Iceland. So that was a big plus. HOWEVER, our twin beds were pushed together, with shared bed-sheets, so we didn't have the option to separate the beds. The staff never responded to any of our messages (asking for another set of bed-sheets). "Wonderful & cozy stay! Everything was clean, neat & host was generous to provide a good variety of food for breakfast. Those staying second floor there’s slight steep stairs thus lesser luggages would be good. Location was easy to find with Google Maps. Overall a pleasant stay. Thank you!"

"The view from here is absolutely stunning. From the volcanic cliffs out the bathroom window to the North Atlantic Ocean in front you. Not to mention the full view of Mt Stepafell. Break was fantastic and the coffee was top notch."

"Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations. Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage. "

"Great location!! It’s about 5minute walk from the main shopping area (Laugavegur). There’s no staff on site for check in but a clear detailed instruction was provided. It was easy, The common areas such as the lobby and kitchen were minimalist and modern design. No airconditioning as it’s common in Europe.
