"The Heron Cabin was recently remodeled, bright and welcoming were all positives.
Mattress was a bit too firm, but that is personal preference. We did notice when we showered the water smelled awful. Not sure what the problem is there. AC unit "squealed" off and on. There were no chairs on deck. Some cabins had chairs and a few didnt. Parking can be a bit tight if you have a larger vehicle ( full-sized truck or larger SUV).
Overall a decent stay. Smell of water was biggest issue."
"The staff were very nice and welcoming. The view of the lake from the front porch was beautiful. The staff took us on a pontoon boat of the lake which was relaxing and allowed us to see how calm and peaceful the lake is. I would recommend staying there."
"If you are anywhere on the East Coast and looking for a nice getaway or time to reset and just chill...you should definitely make this a spot to visit. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and wished I could have extended my stay. The mirror cabins were gorgeous. The attention to detail was lovely. My partner and I loved having the ability to barbecue, dip in the hot tub, and next time I'm booking the room with the sauna! My fiance, he loved looking at all Miami Vice episodes on the projector!
