"Tru was a low-frills stay, but perfect for work travel--amenities available overnight if you're coming in late, close proximity (same complex) to major shopping and restaurants, and a _very_ friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff. I arrived unexpectedly early, and they worked hard to get me installed in a room, even though they were under no obligation to do so. High recommend."

"Excellent property, clean and efficiently used space in sleeping room, delicious breakfast, nice fitness options, and pet friendly. Finding the property was difficult. It was behind a large Walmart, with winding roads that are not well-marked. You'll need to drive behind Walmart's pickup lot before you see the sign of both Hilton properties, this one and TRU."

"Enjoyed a 2 nite stay here while attending CATF theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub after biking on C&O Canal towpath, and fantastic country breakfasts. Views to the west over Antietam battlefields are spectacular! Hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming, including the talking parrot! "
