"This was a great visit. Host was very helpful. The room was spotless and up-to-date. The lounge and outside seating areas with a view of the water were added bonuses. Be aware that if you are walking from the ferry with a suitcase, it's a bit of an uphill trip of about 20 minutes. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for others."

"Managed to book the last room available a twin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. Said own bathroom but was across the public hallway. At check in was not advised to turn power to bathroom was a switch outside in public hallway. Not great when already stripped off. Eventually worked it out. Breakfast was great with outlook over country side."

Dinner menu was fantastic and we took up the offer for packed lunches (sandwich, yoghurt, crisps and delicious rocky road) for our continuing NC500 journey which were excellent and very inexpensive. I am pretty sure the pics that are on the site for advertising are from a completely different hotel all together ok. Nothing, NOTHING that was included in my booking was even an option when i got there. 1 On street vicinity parking: if you consider 12 bocks away in the vicinity. 2 once you got to the hotel you had to turn around and walk back to a different hotel to check in 3....
