"Great place to stay. Quiet! The desk manager had closed for the night and so we had to ring and she was more than happy to quickly check us in, get everything sorted and was exceeding friendly and accommodating. No complaints! Price was also excellent."

"This motel is awesome. I couldn't find fault with it. The staff were great and the room and surroundings are spotless. I would definitely recommend staying here if you need accommodation in Franz Joseph. "

"Great little one night stay in heart of Franz Josef. Man at check in was so happy and friendly that I left there smiling. Our room was basic but had everything we needed. Beds weren’t the most comfy but pillows were excellent. Laundry on site at $4 for wash and $4 for dryer was very convenient. Walking distance to everything. Free wifi worked great."

"This should be the best accommodation i stayed in NZ over the past 3 weeks. Decors are great, they provide muffin, veg soup, coffee bean machines and even popcorn. Netflix on tv to keep me entertained while having my meal and a hot tub to relax after many days of continuous walks and hiking."

"Absolutely gorgeous setting with a view of the glacier. Villa was comfortable (except for the lack of bedside lamps) with a nice kitchen and good beds. Loved that they had free DVDs available (which we took advantage of thanks to a very rainy afternoon and evening) and laundry facilities. The town of Franz Joseph Glacier was cute but food options weren't great - I'd suggest cooking in. Glad we had 2 nights here! "

"Great place for an extended stay. Very friendly front desk and service, clean room with the appropriate amenities."

"You get what you pay for and I couldn't complain as we were a late booking. We had everything we needed, comfortable bed, hot shower and private bathroom. Jesus (spanish manager) did all he could to accomodate us. If you want 5 star and want to pay 4 times the price stay elsewhere but this was very suitable for us, no complaints here 😊"
