Independent West Vancouver hotels

"$25 for parking in a surface lot uncovered seems like gauging. Most hotels I stay at in Vancouver cover this an Expedia gold perk. Front doors aren’t automatic , seems weird at a hotel to have to open your own door and drag luggage through. Not an issue for me but doesn’t seem to match the same premium feel of the rooms. If the person at the front was supposed to be opening doors, they were not. I bought 3 items from the snack store downstairs , one was on sale so I was forced to make two different transactions creating another line item on my expense report. All small things just not a place I would stay again , there are other hotels in the area doing a better job although their rooms aren’t quite as nice."

"It was ok, the staff are nice, the hotel and room r pleasing but i was surprise they do charge resort fee, i fight for 1 day not to charge me because the hotel doesnt have electricity for the whole day. I didnt use amenities. To expidedia next time inform us is they charge resort fee so we can avoid this hotel"
