"Disappointing stay—nothing like the online impression
Island Seas Resort looked much better online than it did in person. Cockroaches and poor cleanliness were major concerns, and the services fell well short of what I expected from a resort.
There was no dining available during my stay. The only option was a coffee shop open for a couple of hours, offering coffee and a muffin. There was no concierge, and I ended up renting a car to get groceries and drive elsewhere for meals.

"The hotel its self is fine for a few night stay I personally wouldnt stay more than 2 or 3 nights. The resort across the street has a beautiful pool that your able to use and you can get breakfast and lunch over there as well but no dinner the restaurant closes at 3pm. And there is no restaurants close by to have dinner. I did hear you could take a ferri to port lucaya and have dinner but when I was looking for the ferri it wasnt available. "We were concerned about the reservation not being cancelled and called on (2) occasions. Both Front Desk or Call Center agents were so helpful, patient and provided excellent customer service, I'm so sorry I don't recall their names now. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful and I would definitely recommend to others."
