"The Alt Hotel offered convenient access to Ottawa Airport for an early-morning flight. The room was clean and modern, but it had a few drawbacks. The bathroom sink was very shallow and could overflow easily. A stained-glass wall separated the shower from the sleeping area; it looked nice, but it filled the bedroom with light when the bathroom light was turned on (e.g., in the middle of the night). The bed was a bit too firm for my taste; more like what I would expect in a European...

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Great location and option in its price range."

"It was a great stay. Close to the airport."

"It is a great location, the hotel is coming back from being shut down for a couple of years, but it’s a good hotel with great staff."

"Only issue was restaurant was expensive, but that’s to be expected in the hotel, and Breakfast was à la carte."

"The property is well-maintained, and the staff are good. The only thing that could be improved is the hair dryer. The airflow was too gentle, so it would be nice if they had a more powerful one."
