"Fantastic property. Esther was such a wonderful host. Really thoughtful and welcoming, and the pictures she's painted for the property are lovely. We really liked the spacious living and dining areas. And we all slept comfortably in the beds. House was lovely and clean. I didn't get check in instructions in advance which was a bit nerve wracking. The company appointed to manage the letting weren't especially responsive. But Esther was there waiting for me and gave us everything we needed....

"Lovely homely cottage situated on a farm. Kitchen & living room upstairs, bedroom & bathroom downstairs. Nice touches of flowers, tea bags & biscuits waiting when we arrived, and some very welcoming doggies!! Lots of local walks, although some footpaths could be better maintained - bring wellies if you like to walk, occasionally we had to wade through a stream! "Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. Only slight issue was the noise from something the other side of the bedroom wall (some sort of low level generator/machine) but ear plugs helped at night. Possibly only an issue for light sleepers guests who are noise sensitive. Staff were very dog friendly but there is nowhere to walk the dog off-road and no poop bag bins. We didn't eat at the hotel but if the brownies are anything to go by I imagine it is lovely. Nice place to stay. "
