"Very clean and up-to-date rooms. This hotel was less than six months old when we stayed. Perfect location for walking the bridge and having an affordable stay close to downtown Charleston."

"Our room was clean and the bed was super comfy. Our issue was the noise from other guests due to thin walls. There was a guest above us that walked his dog on and off all night. So lots of footsteps and banging of doors. Literally kept us up all night. Our advice is to get a room on the 2nd floor. "

"I booked the room for, as I thought, a quiet place to stay outside of the city of Charleston. Shem Creek happened to be the most sought after place in the area. Thankfully, we always found the last reserved hotel parking spot every evening. Plenty of good restaurants, walking opportunities and quick drive to beaches; 10/10 on location. "The shower was moldy in both rooms I was put in. The first room had one screw holding the safety latch thing on the door so they put me in another room since they had no one to put in a screw!!!! The pool to which they share with Best Western next door was ABSOLUTLY NASTY. Broken umbrellas, broken chairs and FILTHY tables where you wouldn't want to put your drink down on them. The pool looked cloudy and I wouldn't even put my big toe in it let alone my body!!! SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. I will...
