"Our room, Croft was a small suite. Very clean with ensuite and small fridge. Ideal. Breakfast was very tasty. We did not have an evening meal there."

"Lovely stay while exploring the area. Very peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of Hereford but still close by. Great room with really nice shared kitchen facilities if you want to use them, or you can have a continental breakfast which we chose. Superb staff! We’ve already booked a return for a stopover."

"Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with good ensuite facilities at a great price. Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old. "

"This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton."

"Hidden gem. Excellent value accommodation with large bedroom and bathroom featuring quality fittings aligning with the period house. We had a delightful hot breakfast with a great selection of freshly prepared ingredients. Pleasant garden surroundings great to walk around and explore. Ample on-site parking too. "We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom. We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...

"The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. "
