"Friendly welcome from reception at check in. Spotless room but no heating on à very cold day. Given à portable heater until central heating kicked in. Good food in restaurant . Very friendly barman in evening and waiting staff at breakfast were extremely efficient and welcoming. Would definitely visit again."

"The property itself was a lovely upstairs room, generous in size and very close to the rail station with a direct line to Edinburgh. We had a two night stay and found the bed to be very comfortable. A generous soak bath tub is in the main bedroom. Little snacks were a pleasant gift. "The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

"The team were very welcoming. The room was a good size and lovely and warm. The hotel food was delicious, as we had dinner and breakfast. Such a pretty village and very easy to find the hotel. The bed was a bit hard and the shower small but great water pressure. Bit of confusion as to whether the rate I'd paid online via Expedia included the pet fee and whether I'd actually already paid online. I'd absolutely come back and stay again and they were so lovely with my dog Monty. "
