"Host is lovey. This is an old pub that’s being converted into various rooms on the top 2 floors. Bathrooms are not on-suite however their are adequate facilities to be shared amongst the rooms so this wasn’t an issue for me. Value for money is second to none. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious enough for 1-2 travellers. Downstairs their is a kitchen and eating area (multiple booths) so you can prepare and cook your own food. "This was such a beautiful cottage hotel. The food was excellent. I had the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The village has more shopping than you'd expect. It's definitely worth the short drive off the beaten path. And of course it's a filming location for Outlander which makes it extra special. "

"Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were all excellent. The ocean mist has been restored to a high standard. Rooms were comfortable and spotless clean. Surprised at how spacious the room was given it's in a boat. Lots of lovely personal touches. My husband was worried about motion sickness but was not a problem at all. "Located a short walk from the Tram and opposite the croft. From the gates to the room, every part of this property is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and finishes well executed.
