We have the hostel split up into 6 main wings so there is additional security for each area, and to spread our guests out across the 5x kitchens of the building. You are most welcome to request a room on the ground floor next time you stay with us if this will be more convenient :) See you next time!

Kia Ora Alexander, Thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us just after Christmas. We are sorry to hear that you didn’t have a positive experience. We are a hostel and many of our guests would be young backpackers that are in their early 20's. However, we do have a no noise policy in place from 11 pm so we were disappointed to hear that you found the hostel noisy in general. We do have a security guard on site to enforce this rule and our receptionists are always happy to help and go talk to guest if they are being too loud. We’re constantly striving for excellence in customer service, guest comfort, room functionality and an overall high level of guest satisfaction, so thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. Safe travels!

This is definitely not the standard for our rooms; checking in with reception could have had this fixed so your bed was fully made for your first night.
