Stayed here for Foo Fighters. Was clean and tidy. Walkable distance to Petone train station, around 15 mins. Have stayed here before and would probably stay again. Room had basic cooking facilites

On first glans the room looked great nice and roomy. But after entering the smell of air fresher hits you., then you work out its either the smell of sweat on the top bedding or its the rotting timber on the bathroom doorway. the building looks fairly new and this needs urgent work on it. I could not wait to leave this motel never to return.

Amazing how clean the room was!!! Stayed in a lot of places in Wellington and surrounding areas and this has been by far the cleanest in a long while. Thank you for taking such care in the cleanliness as it was a delight

The staff member at the reception was pretty friendly and welcoming. The room was quite clean as well but Property should definitely consider adding new carpet and curtains in their rooms. It much needed.!! Other then that the staying experience was fine.!!

I liked that it was a basic clean property and close if you're staying in Lower Hutt. I didn't like that there was no hair dryer, and the curtains in the shower didn't keep the water out of the other areas of the bathroom, meaning the entire bathroom was totally wet after each shower.

Awful place. Wouldn't recommend staying here unless there's absolutely no other option. It's run down and the room smelt incredibly strongly of carpet cleaner or something. It was overpowering and made the space unpleasant to be in. Not reccomended!!!

Pleasant with only minor issue,
Was comfortable and relatively quite. My only gripe really was not being notified of the late hours check in (only 19:30 when states open until 21:00). Once a phone call was made, code entered into after hours box, key in hand and straight to room. Parking is a bit tight as there aren't enough off street for every room. Will stay again when next in Wellington.

Management gave us new room on second night but more light and bathroom issues. They prommised one nights refun but 5 months on and several emails and phone calls still nothing

Another rip off.
The money was taken before we arrived. He called our room an upgrade it was an old house down the back nothing like the picture in the publicity. Yet again a motel servicing emergency housing. Will not be using motels again.

The units are very tired looking. None of the bedside lights worked, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned (hairs in the shower from the last person) an almost finished roll of toilet paper with no spare anywhere. The pull out sofa bed had a badly stained mattress and it didn't have enough bedding for warmth, although when we asked for extra bedding it was given cheerfully. I wouldn't stay there again and will not be taken in by the room picture on the screen.

The welcome at reception was warm and friendly. We arrived and we’re told we had been upgraded to a room with a water view and a spa! We very much appreciated this and had a lovely time.

Was very surprised to see that I had a broken wardrobe in the room, there was no soap and could easily hear the neighbours chatting in the next room. The rubbish wasn’t emptied from the customers before me. Definitely was not what I had expected from the photos on the website.

Very disappointed...our room was nothing like the photos shown on website...far from modern...old converted house with switch board to match...fuse blew due to electric heaters plugged in as both gas heaters did not ignite but did give off strong gas smell. Mould covered large wall area in shower/toilet where the door could not fully close. Long list of general maintenance items. Wish I had read reviews prior to booking

We booked a two-bedroom unit. We were "upgraded" to a 3-bedroom cottage. But it was cold, old, did not have the advertised dishwasher, the TV remote control had flat batteries, and the toilet cistern did not stop filling unless you opened the lid and manually lifted the ballcock. The cottage was nothing like any of the pictures on the web site.

The front desk people were nice, and I'm sure the studio rooms are great (as the picture shows) but they had overbooked & I was put in #12 instead, which is essentially an old house - way to big for one person (there were 2 bedrooms with 5 beds between them and another 2 single beds in the lounge). My issues came about with the condition of the house - the mouldy smell was overwhelming & closed my chest, mould on bathroom roof & walls, a hole in the bathroom floor covered by laminate material, shower head held together by tape (although the water pressure was good), torn curtains & stained carpets. A general 'eww' factor for me. I think #12 needs alot of work in order to make it habitable (and healthy) for accomodation.
