"We stayed 3 nights and found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room; a luxury double was clean and the bed lovely and comfortable. We only had breakfast one day but there was a good choice and nice quality sausage and bacon. We would definitely go back."

"We needed an overnight stop near Lewes, this being a mile or so north. "We only stayed the one night, and would definitely book here again. The staff were extemely helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy. Our room could probably do with an update, but it was clean, spacious, and had a great view. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice of hot drinks and huices as well as both a cold selection buffet, and a cooked breakfast option, all included in our booking. Overall we were vey happy with our stay."

"Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble.
