"What lovely location. We were lucky enough to get a room with a beautiful ciew of the meadows and the cathedral which was stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd like to use this hotel more often. "

"Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. "Lovely, spacious airy room, with a quaint style, a huge copper freestanding bath is in the room, room for two, such a delight! There is a rainfall separate shower in the bathroom too, handy for both of us getting ready at the same time. "The room was very clean. The building itself is very old but is kept in a very clean condition. The staff were friendly, attentive nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good as there was so many gluten free options to choose from and it was cooked to perfection. Parking was at the back of the hotel and felt safe at all times. This is an Ideal location for visiting the town with so much choice of places to eat. "
