"The staff were very helpful. I did not receive any code for the lock box, called after hours number and a staff member was there to let me in, in two minutes. Very family friendly and my doggie loves the place and the beach that he runs on. I stayed two days this time and really enjoyed myself. The nights were very quiet and I slept well. "Location was lovely, nice walks along the river. ( Spotted a Grey Nurse shark). Enjoyed a meal at the bowls club nearby with discount from the motel. Drove to Port Macquarie and had a lovely time there. Went to the Koala rescue centre too. Room on the small side, had to live out of suitcase due to tiny wardrobe etc. Although there was a microwave, fridge & kettle it was all a tight fit. Try for a larger room. Pleasant staff."

"Just a comfortable layout."

"The bed was very comfy. Good amenities in room including kitchenette with sink, microwave, plates, carpeted, table and chairs and sofa. Downside: water pressure in shower is poor, no powerpoints beside bed and driveway entrance could do with resurfacing as full of pot holes."

"The property appears to be somewhat dated, and unfortunately the bathtub showed signs of mould. We also found the blanket to be unclean, and my son developed a rash after contact. Aside from these concerns, the area felt safe and quiet, and the beach was easily accessible."

"The caravan park is in a gorgeous position with unbeatable scenic views over the water and mountains and is tranquil and well run. The very old cottage we hired is adequate but showing its age quite badly. and could do with a refresh. Although it comes with kitchen provisions eg plates saucepans etc they are fairly sparse particularly since the cottage sleeps up to 7. Fridge is large however and quite new. The fully enclosed little area at back is a bonus if you have a dog. Tv works well,...

"The staff were friendly while maintaining a professional manner. The studio was a bit smaller than expected but was suitable for 2 adults."

"Just a cabin , in need of care. Stayed midweek, you get what you pay for… bathroom desperately needs a make over. Outside & deck need a gerni. Location is handy"

"A lovely location, with leafy, tidy grounds around the cabins. Room was older, but extremely clean and tidy. Great place for a longer stay."

"Walk to lake, shops and club. Really clean and has a great BBQ area. Beware if booking with Expedia as the price quoted is not the price charged. Expedia shows the price in another countries currency but does not advise you if this, so when they charge you they convert to Australian dollars and the price increased by $226.00"
