Flies in the Room!!

This place was off the highway a little bit but easy to find if you follow the signs. Googlemaps takes you the wrong way, so don't use that. My biggest complaint is that there were about 20 flies in the room. They must have known it was a problem because there was a fly-swatter in the room. I didn't complain because I had my cat with me, but there was a sign in the lobby that said "No Pets." However, I chose this motel specifically because hotels.com said pets were allowed. I don't normally take my cat with me when I travel, but I was moving to Canada and needed somewhere to stay along the way. Other than the flies, not too bad.

The gentleman at the desk was concerned about my bad knee, as our booked room was up a flight if stairs, a younger couple waiting to check in was booked on bottom. Floor. He asked them if they would mind if we switched rooms. They agreed very nicely. We were so greatful for both parties.

Spartan but acceptable

Old but clean, host was polite and accommodating and at the time of our stay it was quiet. Bed very comfortable, wifi good reception as well as TV reception. If all your looking for is a good nights sleep, the price is right. 2 stars is accurate. I’d stay there again for reasons stated.

Place really sucked!!!!!

Sucks, totally sucked. The place was dirty, rugs stained, towels old, old, the only part that was good was the beds were comfortable. TV was not turned on so when we went to watch it later, could not watch it and owners had gone to bed. brown stain on the rug, still wet, which I thought was poo, but my husband said it had to be coffee. lampshades old and disgusting (dirty), never stay here again.

Picture was obviously taken years ago... like the 90's... maybe. You get what you pay for, but not in this case. Room had not been dusted in weeks, everything is old and run down. Carpet... yuck. Bed... mattress is older than me I think. One of the pillows was a cushion with a pillowcase. Bathroom... they actually put tiles on top of a vynil floor... with no grout. They tried to install pvc walls in the tub. That are being held up with finishing nails... I could go on... AVOID THIS MOTEL!!!

Can't ask more for $70 a night. Clean & convenient

We checked in at 1 AM but had no issues as the manager promptly opened the door. There's a phone outside the reception for late night check-ins. The rooms were clean, the linen looked okay and free internet was good. Nothing much to rave about but then what else can you ask for $70 a night. The only negative is that there is no breakfast included and you have to drive a few miles for a restaurant

OK price and comfortable room

We arrived very late for an overnight stay. The owner was very accommodating and professional.The price was all you should pay for a room that you will only be in for a few hours before moving along on your trip. The room was very basic but clean. The shower was excellent. The air conditioner was a little noisy but did function well enough. Was acceptable for an overnight stay.

OK stay, but won't come back again.

OK stay for the price. The water volume from the shower was decent, AC was good, with refrigerator and microwave. However, it looks like the motel owner made lots of shortcuts. The room looked tired. The leg of the sink vanity fell off. The frame of the mirror was out and left on the microwave. The power cord was too short and wouldn't even reach to the power socket. The worst, we were not even sure if the bed sheet was washed or not, probably not. We were thankful there was no bed bug.

Absolute. Nightmare.

The room had NO heat whatsoever (which you would assume was needed in DECEMBER). The TV was probably made in 1980 and got literally 6 channels. The room was disgusting, with a thick layer of dirt & dust on the furniture and there were large flying bugs in the room. There was NO hot water when I attempted to shower in the morning. If I had a choice of sleeping under a bridge or staying in this motel again, I would gladly take the night under a bridge.

Decent price

I feel OK with the price and decent facility that they provided. I meant you get what you pay. Do not expect much,I had small refrigerator,microwave,hangers,bath tub,shower,air-conditioning,and old fashion TV. Door knobs are broken at the front door and in the bathroom. Bed and Bath are good enough and clean. It depends on where of your destination because I stayed here in order to visit Clayton Island,and Boldt Castle,and some part of attraction places in 1000 islands area. This hotel closes to Wal-Mart,Home Depot,Buffalo Wild Wings and so on just less that 5 minutes and 1 mile away from HW-81. My rate is 2.0 by 5.0

Nice Cheap Hotel

This hotel is nice if your just going to use it for sleeping and showering. The bathroom was a little small but it was ok since we didnt spend all of your time in the room.
