"This was by far our favorite hotel on our 10 day trip visiting Utah's "Big 5" (plus the Grand Canyon ). The room was gorgeous. Spacious and beautifully decorated with a balcony overlooking the river valley. We had a small kitchenette and a well appointed bathroom. It could have benefited from a desk and/or table and chairs. There was certainly room for one. When we brought food back to the room there was nowhere to sit and eat. The location on the Springdale bus line was excellent. We needed to just park our car at the hotel and then relied on the bus service for the 3 days we were there. The breakfast deal that the hotel has with "Oscar's" is well worth it (8$ per person per day). We took the bus to and from the restaurant every morning and rather than an inconvenience, it was a nice change of pace from typical hotel breakfast fare. We ordered off the menu and everything was made to order. One thing to be aware we did have to pay 10$ per day parking which I must have missed in the initial booking. Apparently this fee only applies to bookings via Expedia/Hotels.com and not on bookings made direct with the hotel. After spending a pretty penny every night on accommodations, this seemed a little bit cash-grabby. Where else was I going to park? We used the pool, which was cold but the hot tub was lovely. We also used the Washer/Dryer facilities for which the front desk can make change. The front desk staff was awesome with all their local advice and knowledge."

"The tiny home we stayed in was lovely, space efficient and had an impressive kitchen setup. The hot tub was in impeccable condition and was incredible for night time stargazing. The bed was pretty comfortable and they had a really cool stargazing window right above our heads which was sweet. The location of the tiny home is about a 45-minute scenic drive to Zion national park and about 30 minutes from any good food. Seriously, do not go to Colorado City looking for a good meal, you will not find one. Be prepared to drive and enjoy the scenery, but stick to main roads. Do not take the Smithsonian Butte Byway unless you are COMFORTABLE with offroad driving. The host's website does not warn you about it being pretty dangerous. Areas for improvement: the shower curtain and towels. The curtain was dirty, with Serratia growth crawling up it, and the towels and washrags smelled musty when we arrived. We were given only 2 hot tub towels, 2 shower towels, and 2 washrags for a 5-day stay. When I messaged the host, they took the dirty linens and left 4 towels but no washrags, so after 10-hour hiking days in Zion, we had to wash with our hands. We ended up reusing the same towels four times. The washrags did arrive after I messaged again, but two guests staying near one of the country’s most famous national parks need more than 4 towels for 5 days. We enjoyed our stay. I hope the hosts make minor improvements to make this place truly excellent."
