"The property was in great condition. The check in staff and check out were awesome! I would stay there again in the future when I travel to DMV. The gym was the best ever for a hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. **** We had a center room in a corner, so there were connecting rooms on both sides. When we checked in the doors to both rooms on side of us were unlocked. Whcih mean they had access and could have hidden in the room, put cameras, etc..., so I felt our privacy and safety was...

"We love staying at the Melrose. It’s near the Foggy Bottom metro and there’s a Trader Joe’s across the street. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is great. Chanee’ was so friendly and helpful. She, along with the other staff there, always greeted us and asked if we needed anything. Lizbeth even text me during our stay to check on us and see if we needed anything. We will be back! "

"Location was perfect! I spent more the night before for a higher ranked hotel in sketchy area. I consider this hotel to be a true 5 star. The restaurant recommendation, I would have never found. The kitchen closed late and we arrived when kitchens in the area were closing. It was memorable with my teenage daughter. I will never stay anywhere else if in DC. Beds were amazing! Thank you! "
