"Excellent stay"

"I did not not like the room I stayed in. It was very old old blankets, old sheets, old furniture, old everything. The bathroom door was hard to close because the toilet seat was too big. It just felt dirty, but I can’t say that it was it just was so old and undated outdated. It just felt dirty and the air conditioning always blew in your face if you were on the bed by the door, I just did not like this place at all. It’s not my style and I wish I would not have scheduled it."

"The owners were amazing and super nice and lovely to chat with! They mentioned that they had purchased it a few years back and have been slowly renovating. The building itself you could tell was old, but they had deep-cleaned everything which was great! The parking lot looked new, as well as the floor in our room. "Wonderful staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The owners/managers have a lot of pride in their resort and living in the lush grandeur of Lake Quinault. We really enjoyed the lake view from the lanai. On the flip side, and this is not a complaint, just a reality, the rooms are rustic, but are well maintained and cozy. Unlimited ice is available at the check-in small store as well as a microwave, coffee or snacks to purchase. The staff went out their way to ensure we could settle in...

"It’s a very unique old hotel dating back to 1896. The architecture has not been updated but keeps a funky charm. Reused old wood furniture, old tub with an attached shower. Pub on site. Sauna and garden to relax. A pool table and board games. Fire place in the lounge area. Victoria was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again but not like a modern hotel."
